The AEPD does not use cookies to collect information from users, nor does it register access IP addresses. Only own session cookies are used for technical purposes (those that allow the user to navigate through the website and services that exist in it).

The personal data that may be collected directly from the interested party will be treated confidentially and will be incorporated into the corresponding processing activity owned by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

Purpose

The purpose of the data processing corresponds to each of the processing activities carried out by the AEPD and which are accessible in the register of processing activities.

Legitimation

The processing of your data is carried out for the fulfilment of legal obligations on the part of the AEPD, for the fulfilment of missions carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of public powers conferred on the AEPD, as well as when the purpose of the processing requires your consent, which must be given by means of a clear affirmative action.

Retention of data

The personal data provided will be kept for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they are collected and documentation regulations.

Communication of data

In general, personal data will not be communicated to third parties, except for legal obligations, which may include communications to the Ombudsman, Judges and Courts, interested in the procedures related to the complaints presented.

Rights of data subjects

Any person has the right to obtain confirmation of the processing of their data carried out by the AEPD.

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion and not be subject to decisions based solely on the automated processing of your data, when appropriate, before the Spanish Agency for Data Protection, C/Jorge Juan, 6, 28001-Madrid or email address dpd@agpd.es.

The AEPD reserves the right to make changes to the website without prior notice, in order to keep its information up to date, adding, modifying, correcting or eliminating the contents published or the design of the portal.

The AEPD will not be responsible for the use that third parties make of the information published on the portal, nor for the damages suffered or economic losses that, directly or indirectly, produce or may produce economic, material or data damages, caused by the use of said information.

Reproduction of contents

The total or partial reproduction of the contents published in the portal is prohibited. However, the contents that are considered as open data in the Electronic Headquarters, published in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 1495/2011, of 24 October, implementing Law 37/2007, on the reuse of public sector information, for the scope of the state public sector, may be reproduced in the terms contained in the following Notice.

In accordance with the provisions of article 7 of Royal Decree 1671/2009, of 6 November, partially implementing Law 11/2007, of 22 June, on citizens’ electronic access to public services, the AEPD is responsible for the integrity, veracity and services that may be accessed through its Electronic Headquarters (https://sedeagpd.gob.es/).

Transparency portal

Through the information published on the transparency portal, the AEPD periodically attends to the principle of active advertising established by Law 19/2013 of 9 December on transparency, access to public information and location.

Applicable law

The applicable law in case of dispute or conflict of interpretation of the terms that make up this legal notice, as well as any matter related to the services of this portal, will be Spanish law.
